About Anghami
Anghami is a music and audio streaming service launched in 2012 by Lebanese co-founders Elie Habib and Eddy Maroun. Built to serve a region that global platforms had largely ignored, it became the first legal music streaming platform in the Middle East and North Africa, offering a vast catalogue of both Arabic and international tracks tailored to local listening habits.
Over the years Anghami has grown into one of the region’s best-known technology brands, expanding beyond streaming into live events, podcasts, and artist tools. In 2022 it became the first Arab technology company to list on the NASDAQ stock exchange in New York, a milestone that put a company with Lebanese founders on a global financial stage.
