About EAST Architecture Studio
EAST Architecture Studio is a Beirut-based architecture and design practice founded by Charles Kettaneh and Nicolas Fayad. The studio works across architecture, interiors and research, with a thoughtful approach that responds to context, material and the realities of building in Lebanon.
Its projects range from residential and cultural work to exhibitions and installations, and the studio has gained international recognition for engaging seriously with questions of heritage, reconstruction and a fragile present. EAST represents a new generation of Lebanese architects working with intelligence and restraint.
Why EAST Architecture Studio Matters
EAST engages directly with Lebanon’s built environment, heritage and post-crisis reconstruction, positioning architecture as a thoughtful response to a difficult context. Its internationally recognised work shows the depth of contemporary Lebanese architectural thinking.
