About Fair Trade Lebanon
Established in 2006, Fair Trade Lebanon is a non-profit social enterprise that connects rural cooperatives and small producers with fair markets at home and abroad. It works closely with women-led cooperatives and family farms, helping them produce, package and sell traditional Lebanese mouneh, preserves, jams, honey and other pantry staples under quality standards that meet export requirements.
By channelling artisanal food products to consumers, retailers and international buyers, Fair Trade Lebanon ensures that producers receive fair prices and lasting income. The organisation also invests in training, certification and rural development, and is aligned with the global fair-trade movement, reinforcing Lebanon’s culinary heritage while building sustainable livelihoods in the countryside.

Fair Trade Lebanon keeps rural traditions alive by turning them into viable businesses. It gives cooperatives, and especially rural women, the tools and market access to earn dignified incomes from products rooted in Lebanese soil.
