About eTobb
eTobb is a health technology platform founded in Beirut to connect patients with qualified doctors for reliable medical information. Its name plays on the Arabic word for medicine, and its mission was to counter the unreliable health information people find online by giving them access to real physicians who could answer questions and offer guidance.
The platform lets users ask health questions and receive responses from verified doctors, helping bridge gaps in access to medical advice. As one of Lebanon’s early healthtech ventures, eTobb explored how digital tools could make trustworthy medical guidance more accessible across the Arab world.
Why eTobb Matters
eTobb was an early Lebanese effort to solve a universal problem: how to get trustworthy health information. By connecting patients directly with verified doctors, it helped pioneer healthtech in the region and demonstrated how Lebanese founders could apply technology to healthcare access and public wellbeing.
