About Douaihy Sweets
Douaihy Sweets is one of North Lebanon’s best-known makers of oriental sweets, rooted in the town of Zgharta and carrying the name of one of the region’s most established families. What began as a local sweets workshop has grown into a recognizable Lebanese brand with branches across the country and a steady export business, summarized by its own motto: “from Lebanon to the world.”
The house is best known for the classics that define a Lebanese sweets counter: layered baklava and its many nut-filled variations, semolina-and-date maamoul, warm cheese-filled knafeh, mabroumeh and osmalliyeh. Alongside the traditional trays, Douaihy also produces chocolates, gift assortments and seasonal boxes that appear in Lebanese homes during Ramadan, Easter and family celebrations.
